What are you convinced of? Your identity was established before you began.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…” — Jeremiah 1:5
Before you performed. Before you proved yourself. Before you figured anything out, God already knew you. Set you apart. Gave you purpose. That means your identity is not something you build. It’s something you return to.
Belief Is the Bridge
The Word of God is full of life-giving truth about who you are. But here’s the thing — it only transforms you when you believe it. Not when you skim it. Not when you quote it. But when you become fully convinced of it.
There is a difference between knowing something in your head and being persuaded of it in your heart. Alignment lives in that space where what you know finally becomes what you live.
You Are Not Behind, You Are Becoming
The internal battle you feel? It’s not failure. It’s an invitation to align your life with truth, to live from your real identity, to walk in wholeness.
For me, this is the journey: to live fully for my Master. And to do that, I have to be fully convinced of who He is and fully convinced of who He says I am.
I’m still learning. Still growing. Still walking it out. And if you’re in that place of tension. Of learning, of realignment, you’re not behind. You’re becoming.
Reflection
- What am I truly convinced about when it comes to God?
- Do I believe what God says about me?
- What is one truth I will choose to hold onto daily?
Prayer
Lord, help me to be fully convinced. Fully convinced of Your love. Fully convinced of Your truth. Fully convinced of who You say I am.
Remove every doubt, every lie, every mindset that keeps me living below my identity. Teach me to live from a place of alignment, where my beliefs, my actions, and my heart all move in the same direction.
I choose to walk this journey with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Hale Ministries
Andi and Brian Hale have a long history of ministry service, including 20+ years for each of them as AWANA Leaders and Teachers. Andi directed the Zion Evangelical Church Choir for 10 years and is now on the Praise Team for the largest church in Texoma (North Texas and Southern Oklahoma). She has had the opportunity to sing and pray with Avalon and Casting Crowns and landed the lead role in GREASE (50+ version) as Sandy at Wichita Falls Backdoor Theater. Brian has a long history in the media, including Radio, TV, Newspaper, PA Announcer, Social Media and On-Stage in front of thousands. As website designers of more than 25 years, they are always eager to help answer any questions you might have.
Together, Brian and Andi are out to prove that you can still have fun in your 50’s in this crazy, upside down world we live in today, as long as we keep our focus on Him, the One who created us for a purpose!
